Just a brief update about the shop and opening back up. At the moment, we have not made any firm decisions as to when we will open. Government instructions are a bit vague for small businesses regarding who can open. We can sell online or in the shop! We will not be opening until we are specifically told to do so by managers in the vicinity of our shop.
When we open again, we want to have things in place to protect our customers and myself. The last thing we want is to close again if a second wave hits, so we want to do our part in keeping everyone as safe as we can.
Covid-19 is far from over. Our duty of care to our customers has to be a priority, safety must come first.
Once we are told we can open again, and safely, we will. We can’t wait to open our shop again. In the meantime, we can post out some items, or deliver locally in the area, following strict government guidelines. Items must be paid for by PayPal ‘Goods & Services’ as per PayPal requirements for businesses.
When the shop is able to reopen again, we have a protective screen ready to go on to the counter, I have masks (these are available to purchase in store too) and antibac ready. There will be 1 customer in the shop at any one time, due to safe distancing in the shop. We ask that you don’t handle stock unless to purchase. You will be required to put your own shopping into bags provided. Payments will be contactless when possible. As soon as we have any other news, I will update you again.
